have convincingly ended Somerset College's 10 year reign as
Gold Coast High Schools Teams Chess Champions. Their team
comprising Sam Grigg, Daniel Ford, Cameron Thompson and
Lachlan Pedersen-Lee scored 25/28, to win by four points from

These four teams qualify for the
Queensland Inter-Schools Finals to be held at Brisbane Grammar
School on the weekend of 14/15 October.
In the open division, TSS came first on countback from Somerset College, both teams scoring 22/28, with Saint Stephens third.
