This year the list says goodbye to Sam Grigg, Sebastian Jule, Yitao Lei and Molly McGarity.
Several players feature prominently on both the yearly Most Active and Most Improved lists.
These are included in the "Top Movers" list. Tane Legg had the biggest single year increase since M.Ly in 2003.

This year saw the end of an era with the Gardiner Chess Centre being sold.
The McConnells once again played the most games. Approximately 55,000 games were rated this year.
