Conditions of entry

The following numbers of seeded players should be chosen by
their national chess federations to receive free twin-share
accommodation at Twin Towns and free entry into the zonal championships:

The Oceanic Federations (AUS, NZL, FIJI, PNG, PAL) must provide, in writing, the names of their selected players to the
Zonal President, Gary Bekker, by 31 March 2009.

The winner of the Oceania Zonal should be willing and prepared to represent the zone at the next World Cup event for which they qualify.

Other players from the FIDE Oceania Zone, may enter the tournament, subject to the approval of the Zone President, upon payment of the entry fees, in Australian Dollars, based on their FIDE Rating as at April 2009.

The closing date for entries for non-selected players is
Friday 6 June 2009.
The organiser may, at his discretion, accept late entries.
