Gold Coast High Schools Teams Championships
Round 1

The Somerset College team of Steven Cooke, Jessica
Kinder, Shaun Shen and Cameron Thompson has won round
one of the Gold Coast High Schools Competition with a
score of 22/28. Second was the Merrimac team comprising
Alex Jule, Amy Evans, John Bretherton and Charis Chan
on 18.5, and third the Saint Stephens team of Chris
Hardy, Ashley Chynoweth, Dylan Murray and Oliver Treacy
on 16.5.
Board prize winners in the championship grade were Board One
Alex Jule, Board Two Zane Adams, Board
Three Shaun Chen and Board Four Cameron
Thompson.
In the reserve grade, Kings Christian College came first
on 23, Varsity College second on 21 and Somerset
College third also on 21. Individually, Daniel Ford
won this grade on 8/8, second was Leoma Lee on 7 and
third Aki Matsui also on 7.
