Tuesday to Friday 14 to 17 April

Each day there will be a mixture of:

• chess coaching sessions

• chess activities

• rated tournaments with clocks

• beginner, intermediate and advanced groups

• don't miss out on this great opportunity to improve your chess

• during break-times there will be other fun activities like table-tennis and other ball games in our great new outdoor area

• come for all 4 days, or single days, as you wish

• early bird reductions for payment up to a day beforehand - see the brochure for details

Gold Coast Junior Championships at the centre - Full details here

on Saturday and Sunday, 18 and 19 April

• All age groups from under 8s to under 18s

• If you have a weekend sporting activity, we can give you a half point bye to miss a round

• As a championship event, this is a great stepping stone for Queensland and Australian events

• Special note: We have decided to hold the under 8s as a separate event on the Saturday only from 10am to 4pm

Student-Free Day Tournaments at the Chess Centre - Full details here
Monday 20th April

• Most schools have a student-free day on the 20th, so come along to the centre for some chess and try and improve your rating

• [The other student-free days are on Mondays 13th July and 19th October]
