IQ Chess franchise opportunities

We couldn't have hoped for a better individual to commence our first franchise operation, and we wish David all the very best in this new initiative.

Gardiner Chess is looking to set up chess coaching operations in the various regional centres of Queensland. We are looking for people with a good knowledge of chess, who like teaching, and who would like to develop a successful business. Please contact Graeme on ggardiner@gardinerchess.com.

Summer School Holidays at the Chess Centre

As usual, we have a couple of weeks of chess for the kids at the centre during the summer school hols.

Our summer rapid chess comps are held every morning and afternoon for the week commencing Monday 15 January. There are half day, day and week rates. Each competition is Queensland Junior rated, so a great opportunity for the kids to improve their chess and their rating.

Our 4 day daytime chess camp will be held from Monday to Thursday 22 to 25 January from 9am to 5pm each day. This involves a substantial chess coaching component, as well as rated competitions, and chess and non-chess activities.

Arianne Caoili in final of Dancing with the Stars
