Regional Queensland - The 2011 Queensland Championships qualifiers have now been decided. Results: Bundaberg Weekender (John Harris), Cairns Open (Robin Wei), Mackay Open (Noel Olsen), North Queensland Open (Mike Van Renan) & Mt Isa (David Castor - who qualified via the Bundaberg tournament)
FM Gene Nakauchi has come second in the Japan Open held recently. This is a very fine result. He won 120,000 yen, which is about $1,500. Well done Gene!
